Celebrating a Wonderful School Year

We started our day with a beautiful celebration of learning, reflection, and the incredible growth each child has experienced throughout the year.

We began our morning gathered together as Manisha shared two of her favorite books, Where the Bug Walk Ends by Felicia Bond and What If Everybody Did That? The stories inspired thoughtful conversations about kindness, responsibility, and the unique journey each child has taken this year.

Next came one of the children's favorite activities of the day. Tables were filled with photographs of everyone as newborns and one-year-olds. The children eagerly examined each picture, shared observations, and worked together to guess which baby belonged to each classmate. Listening to their conversations, reasoning, and excitement as they recognized one another was a wonderful reminder of how much they have grown.

During circle time, each child had the opportunity to reflect on the year by sharing their favorite Montessori work and talking about the activities they enjoyed most. It was a meaningful way to celebrate each child's unique interests and accomplishments.

To conclude, the children worked independently on a special Continents Project, demonstrating the concentration, creativity, and independence they have developed throughout the year.

As we look back on another wonderful year together, we are filled with pride in all that our children have accomplished. We wish our graduates continued success as they begin their next adventure, and we look forward to creating many more joyful learning experiences with the children who will be returning next year.
