Chick Hatching Program

Our Early Childhood students enjoyed a memorable hands-on learning experience through our Chick Hatching Program. As part of our Life Cycle Unit, children learned that it takes approximately 21 days for chicks to hatch from their eggs. They eagerly observed the incubation process, watched the eggs begin to crack, and experienced the excitement of seeing the chicks emerge.

The children learned about the life cycle of a chicken and gained a deeper appreciation for the growth and development of living things. Beyond the science lessons, the experience was filled with wonder and joy. The children loved listening to the chicks peep, gently holding them, feeling their soft feathers, and observing their behaviors up close.

This special experience brought learning to life and created lasting memories for our students until the farmer returned to take the chicks back to the farm.
